Library

The WRNBC maintains a library of wildlife rehabilitation literature, journals and publications for its members.

POLICY AND PROCEDURES FOR THE WRNBC LIBRARY

  • Access to the lending Library is limited to current WRNBC members. Members may borrow from the library by telephoning or emailing Marcy Potter (marcy.potter@wrnbc.org) and requesting the items desired.
  • Requested items will be mailed or faxed with an invoice for the cost of mailing.
  • The borrowing member will return the items within the prescribed time by mail or prepaid shipping, and enclose payment of the invoice for postage. All items must be returned within 30 days of receipt.
  • Members donating materials for the Library will be acknowledged in the newsletter.
  • The cost of material not returned to the Library at the end of the fiscal year shall be deemed dues payable with membership renewal in order to maintain a membership in good standing according to Part 2:9 of the BC Societies Act.
  • Anyone wishing a particular paper from conference proceedings or journals should indicate the particular paper as well as the volume number, to allow for more than one member to access a particular volume.
